M.I.R.P launched in 2013 as a way to document the live shows and music scene exploding across the Pacific Northwest. All contributors on staff are fans first and media second, we come from diverse backgrounds, experiences and musical passions, but we work synergistically to create what we want to see; it’s simple – MUSIC – INTERVIEWS – REVIEWS - PHOTOS = M.I.R.P. Since its launch MIRP has supported hundreds of local shows, venues, radio stations, artists, promoters, businesses, and talented local as well as national and International bands. We strive to make it all come alive for you through our words and pictures. We do it all for the love of the music, that’s what it’s all about for us, and we believe that’s what our readers want to see – less hype – more music, reviews, amazing live photos, and cutting edge interviews. M.I.R.P is a place to discover new music, explore the bands you love, get to know the band members in the local scene as well as your favorite stars, from pop to metal we cover it all. Our goal is to expose our readers to as many genres as exist, you never know what tune is going to move you until you hear it. We intend to bring our love of music to the masses.
