WHAT

Veterans Memorial Coliseum and Bloodworks Northwest are partnering to save lives in the local community by transforming the arena into a Pop-Up Donor Center experience every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from July 6 through August 28. Blood donors are asked to roll up their sleeves and provide a much-needed lifeline for patients as blood donations generally decrease during the summer months. These donations support local hospitals, such as Legacy, Providence and PeaceHealth.

Veterans Memorial Coliseum and Bloodworks Northwest are taking necessary precautions and safety measures for donors and staff with face mask/face covering requirements, extra sanitation and temperature checks for staff and donors. Additionally, in accordance with current social distancing guidelines, only scheduled appointments will be allowed, and all materials are placed at least six feet apart. No walk-ins, guests or other people under age 16 are permitted onsite. To learn more about the steps Bloodworks Northwest is taking to ensure everyone’s safety, read HERE.

Free parking is available in the North Stage Lot on Winning Way in between N Benton Ave. and N Larrabee Ave. Signage will be posted directing donors from the North Stage Lot to the Fountain Room inside VMC.
