"The visual for this song really pulls out the innocence of being young and how we would all love to relive that beautiful time in our lives,' says guitarist Kevin Burrows. "This song means a lot to all of us because with all they craziness of growing up and having responsibilities, we need a reminder that it's the little things that are more important."

Andy The Kid Releases Pendulum Cover "The Island" Lyric Video Featuring Aaron Nordstrom Of Gemini Syndrome

The EP also features guest performances from Chris Hall (Stabbing Westward), Jimmy Trigger (We Are the Riot), and Toby Rand (Juke Kartel).
Watch Andy The Kid "The Island" (Official Lyric Video) below:
Writing and recording this EP has been a cathartic experience that has put a big fat exclamation mark on what has been a tumultuous journey since moving to the States...It was extremely important to put a cover on the record that showcased Australian music, and I’ve loved Pendulum for many years, just knowing they’re Australian makes me very proud and inspired...The video was an extremely fun experience. It was shot in one take, with two iphones, 2 Stage Ninja Scorpion phone holders and with $10 in my pocket. It took a fair bit of coordination, but I feel like it turned out great. Gone are the days where I feel thousands have to be spent on video production. The technology to achieve visual media is at our finger tips, and it just takes a little initiative to learn. - Andy The Kid

About William Control:
Producer, writer, engineer, front-man, and rising icon of the majestic fusion of electronic darkwave, industrial goth, new wave punk, and glam rock William Control is a man of many personas and masks.
As lead vocalist for Seattle-based rockers Aiden, William has never been a shy character. The charismatic vocalist’s performance evokes such punk and glam legends as Iggy Pop, David Bowie, and Ian Curtis, while creating a new standard in onstage performance excellence.
As a producer, WILLIAM CONTROL melds together a dark, industrial substratum with strains of new wave sensibility reminiscent of New Order, Bauhaus, Gary Numan, and Depeche Mode.
Finally, as an author, William has released the first of three novels, Revelator: Book 1, which brings to life the nihilistic story of William Control, as told through “Hate Culture”, “Noir”, “Novus Ordo Seclorum”, and “Silentium Amoris”, in 2013.
A man speaking from many perspectives, but all which coalesce in a collective sense of suppressed identity and desires, William Control uses the discordant voices in his head to consummate his varied and seemingly divergent conclusions into a celebratory affirmation of lives and passions living outside of mainstream acceptance. Whether with his voice, his musical styling, or words, he demands validation and recognition for a subculture all but denied existence, and in doing has built a cult-like following of devotees from around the world.
E&E will be playing main stage at Rock Fest this year in Cadott, WI on July 18th and there is a big tour in the works as well. The Chicago, IL band released Devil in the Lake via Pavement Entertainment in January of 2014 and will be re-releasing the record today May 5th WITH 9 BONUS TRACKS!
